Megan found herself drawn to yoga as a way to add balance to her personal fitness routine. She took one vinyasa class and was hooked! After developing a regular practice, she still felt like something was missing, which is when she signed up for her 200 hour yoga teacher training.
After completing her 200 hour training in 2021, yoga became more than a passion. She realized that teaching was her true calling. As much as Megan loves to teach, she loves to study and learn even more. It’s rare to find her not enrolled in a new program of study or certification course. Megan specializes in teaching the styles of vinyasa and yin, and has numerous certifications including specialty certifications in restorative yoga, gentle and accessible yoga, and therapeutic yin yoga, NASM personal training certification with a specialty in corrective exercise, and trainings in meditation and somatic movement and therapy.
Megan works as a certified bodyworker and healer, specializing in Thai Bodywork, assisted stretch therapy, and energy healing.
Megan loves to create themed classes, and always aims to combine the philosophical and mindful aspects of yoga with the physical practice of asana. Her flows are skillfully sequenced to enhance mobility and strength, tie together movement and breath, and allow you to create a deeper connection to your inner self.
